David Miller, of strathclyde university and Spinwatch fame, was the speaker at an introductory event we organised for a peace society we were running. This would be about two years ago.
At the end of the event, Miller was answering questions. Someone asked something about Tony Blair's job prospects. Miller laughed, and said... "Tony Blair's finished." The questioner asked who was going to take over. "Geoff Hoon, it'll be Geoff Hoon."
We never saw any of the newcomers at that meeting ever again.
